We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying a bird of prey experience with Luke’s team of owls as a present for my parents. We all loved every minute, and my daughter came away with the biggest smile on her face. Luke was so welcoming, and his passion for the birds, along with his amazing knowledge, made the day even more special. I would highly recommend visiting Wye Valley Falconry for anyone interested in falconry photography; we will definitely be booking again soon!

Yesterday I went to experience an incredible bird of prey experience with Luke and his amazing birds of prey. I had booked a photography experience for myself, focusing on falconry photography. Luke was friendly, extremely experienced, and knowledgeable. With him, he had seven of his beautifully cared-for birds that were simply gorgeous! I had booked a 2.5-hour slot, and Luke was very organized. We started off with still shots in a stunning wood surrounded by natural beauty. Then we moved on to action shots! Although I am used to being an equine photographer, this experience truly tested my skills! Throughout the session, Luke was patient, and we managed to capture some fantastic shots. Even though the focus was on photography, Luke was very informative about the birds, and I left much more knowledgeable about these magnificent creatures. I literally came away smiling and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Having a Harris Hawk fly so close to me was amazing—feeling the air whoosh past my head was one of the many highlights. I cannot recommend Luke and Wye Valley Falconry enough—I will definitely be back! Thank you, Luke.

I booked a 2-hour bird of prey experience with Luke as a birthday treat for my wife and myself. Luke arrived very professionally, demonstrating a great sense of welfare towards his birds and sharing his depth of knowledge about all 9 birds showcased that day. The experience was excellent value for money, and we both learned a lot, especially in terms of falconry photography techniques. We would definitely recommend Wye Valley Falconry to all our friends.

Luke and his beautiful birds of prey visited our school yesterday for an unforgettable bird of prey experience. A true professional, he provided the children with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and expand their knowledge. This well-priced experience is something the children will cherish forever! Everyone held a stunning owl (class of 30 + 4 staff) and got to capture some amazing falconry photography moments. We highly recommend Wye Valley Falconry to every Reception class as a fantastic way to extend learning. Luke is a very calm and understanding man, and we appreciate his patience, even when asked if the birds would eat tigers—three times! Thank you!
